Taco Shop and Sillly Boys

I went to Corsicana this weekend for Lauren's baby shower. I got to spend some great quality time with my mom, shop for fun dresses, buy a Christmas present for my brother, get a fun Halloween lamp and of course eat TACO SHOP. If you are ever driving through Corsicana, you have to stop at TACO SHOP. I know it is scary looking on the outside and inside but it is so good and cheap. Plus, if you like Dr. Pepper, they have the best. Thanks for everything mom!!

Here is a random picture of Jason and David. David went to college with Jason and was the best man in our wedding. Julie, David, Jason and I were at Wal-mart on Saturday night. For whatever reason, the guys decided to try on these lovely denim vest. They were being goofy so I had to take a picture. The funniest part is I think my sweet, country Dad has this vest...haha!!

Weekend in Aggieland...WHOOP!!!

Jason and I went to College Station this weekend. We got tickets from the Genella's...thanks Laura and Charlie. We had so much fun! I was so excited when Jason told me we were going to the football game. I immediately starting planning the places that I wanted eat. There is nothing better than greasy college food. Jason convinced me to take a half day from school, which I never do. (I missed one day last year but it was for a workshop so that does not count.) We left for College Station at 12:30. We stopped at Chuy's on the way for lunch...what a great start. Friday night we want to the A&M soccer game. After the game, we headed to Layne's for the "soon to be famous chicken fingers" and secret sauce...yum!! Saturday we loaded up on new Aggie gear at two different tent sales. I love the tent sales because you can get great t-shirts for cheap. We had lunch at Chicken Oil Company (one of our favorites) before the game. I enjoyed driving around all of the streets and looking at all of the changes. I had not been back in two years so there were tons of new things to see. We meet Laura and Charlie at their family tailgate and then headed to the game. Before the game, Jason and I walked around campus. It is crazy that I was so ready to graduate and now I would pay to go back. I miss the easy college life. We headed to the game only to get beat up on...that is alright Aggies...next time. After the game, we headed back to McKinney but stopped at Double Dave's for one last college meal. It was the perfect trip. I hope we can make this a new tradition every year. We need to get a big group together...it would be so much fun! Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Summer Pictures

Here are some pictures from the summer. I finally have the computer and camera working at the same time. They are old but I still wanted to post them. We enjoyed spending time with our family and friends this summer. I am already looking forward to next summer.

Jason and I at the Brad Paisley concert...look at that ugly hat!!

Me, Jason, Luke and Elizabeth

Luke and Elizabeth work at CHS with Jason. We love hanging out with them. The concert was great but all of the teenagers around us were not. The concert was at the Superpages and I was shocked by the action of the teenagers. Jason has already said if we have kids, they are never going to see a concert with out him.

Here are pictures from our trip to the Lake House. Thanks for taking us Laura and Charlie. We missed you, Brandon and Mandy.

The puzzle we put together. Puzzle are addicting!!

Jason took this picture of himself...he was proud of his photography skills.

We have taken up a new hobby...bowling!! Melissa, Ryan, Caitlin, David, Jason and I have been bowling twice in the last two months. We all have a great time and are very competitive. Here is a picture of Jason's foot and my foot. I thought the size difference was funny. I took pictures of us but they all look funny because of the black lights...maybe next time.

Soccer Signs

Jason and I like to make signs for his soccer team. It is hard to believe that Jason is staring his eighth year of coaching high school soccer. It is crazy to think how much has changed in the last seven years. Here is a picture of us with a sign we painted before his first season. Here is a picture of us making a sign for his new freshmen players.

July Update

Wow! I can't believe that this is the last week of July. I have cheer practice and cheerleading camp this week. After cheer camp, we have two weeks before we report back to school. I am excited to meet my new students, get my schedule, and figure out my new subject. I know...I am one of those crazy people that does not dread the start of school.

July 1st Jason and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary!!
I forgot to take a picture at dinner so here is a wedding picture.

July 4th was great this year. My parents drove up to celebrate with us. Jason got us all tickets to the FC Dallas game. The fireworks were amazing. After the game, we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dessert. We went with the Richardson family, Candace's boyfriend. It was great to spend time with Candace and James.

July 11th we went to Lubbock to see Amy, RW, Tucker, Tanner and Jeremy.
New Potato Heads

Tanner watching his movie. I looked back and he had his hands behind his head. Jason and I were cracking up. He is so cute! Look at that serious face!!!

Tucker with his hands behind his head.
Too cute!

Friday night we got to see Jeremy's house. We also got to take him to an early birthday lunch on Saturday. It was so good to see him and spend some time in Lubbock. He loves it! On Saturday, we went to Stephanie and Blake's in Abilene. It is always great to spend time with best friends. I am still praying that they move closer some day. We are hoping they will be in the DFW area in 2 years.

July 15th was Jason's 29th birthday. He was busy coaching soccer camp on his birthday so we celebrated on the 19th. I am glad that he is back. I really hate staying at home by myself. Thankfully my mom stayed with me the first week.

July 18th was Jeremy's birthday. Happy Birthday Brother!

Where Did June Go??

Summer is flying by. I am glad that we still have a month to enjoy. We had a special event every weekend in June . We had a baby shower for one of my college roommates, Ali, and my cousin, Jennifer, got married on June 14th. I need to get the pictures from my sister so I will post them later.

On July 21st, we had a couple shower for Lindsay and Teague at our house. Brooke, Jourdan, Lindsay, Haley, Sarah, Cari and I have all been best friends since elementary school. We get together at least four times a year and we always have a big Christmas celebration. We exchange ornaments...so much fun! It is very rare for a group of girls to be so close for 20 years but we all love each other. I love these girls!

On June 28th, we participated in a progressive dinner with our Bible Fellowship Group. Jason and I had never attended a progressive dinner...it was a blast! We started at our house with chips and dip. The next stop was the White's for salad. The main course was at the Guyton's. They served brisket, potato salad, baked beans and bread...yum!! Our final stop was at the Maxwell's for dessert. Jason and I are so blessed to have an amazing group of friends that love the Lord. Here are a few pics...
