Christmas

I have gotten so behind in my blogging. Here are some pictures from Keegan's first Christmas. We had so much fun sharing this special time of year with Keegan and our family.

Aunt Mandy and Keegan playing with his new blocks.

Keegan modeling his new Justin cowboy boots. They are a size 4, but they were on sale. My mom said she could not pass up the deal. He is going to love wearing them.

Gigi and Keegan listening to his Christmas bear. The bear tells an entire Christmas story. He loved it!!

I love these faces!!!

Keegan's face when he is cooing...I love his little sounds!

Jessica

Keegan had his first babysitter come over. Jason and I went out for a friend's birthday party. Jessica came to hang out with him. When I was student teaching in 7th grade, Jessica was in one of my classes. She is now a senior at CHS where Jason coaches. She is such a sweet girl!!

Baby Dedication at FBC

We had the wonderful opportunity to dedicate Keegan at First Baptist. Keegan did great! Pastor Jeff prayed over the families, gave Keegan his first bible, and a letter for him to read when he accepts Christ. Jason and I were so thankful to be surrounded by our loving family, friends, and church family. One of our favorite parts was that the Maxwell family and Cox family also dedicated their boys in the same ceremony. We are thankful that Keegan will have strong Christian friends to grow up with.

Texas Fight!!

I know I graduated from Texas A&M so this post might shock you. If you know me well, you know that I am not the best Aggie. My family is extremely spread out with our college degrees so I choose to support everyone. My dad graduated from Baylor, my mom graduated from Southwest Texas (now Texas State), Candace graduated from Texas, and Jeremy graduated from Texas Tech. Jason graduated from Central Christian College in Kansas, but he loves UT.
My parents took the family to watch the Big 12 Championship at Cowboys Stadium. Texas won at the very last second. Keegan did great! We passed him back and forth on the row so that everyone got a chance to hold him. It worked perfect!!

Two Month Check-Up

I can't believe that Keegan is two months old. We have been so blessed to share the last two months with him. He is so much fun!! He is starting to smile and loves to talk. He sweet coos melt my heart. He had his two month check-up on Monday. Dr. Newton said he is doing great. He does have a mild case of flat head because he prefers to look towards his right. Jason and I noticed the problem a few weeks ago so we have been working on getting him to turn towards the left. Dr. Newton gave us some exercises to help stretch his neck muscles. He said it is probably because of the position he was in during the pregnancy. He is confident that we can fix it before it becomes a major concern.

Two Month Stats:
Weight: 12 pounds 4 ounces (75 percentile)
Height: 23.5 inches (75-90 percentile)
Head: 16.2 inches (90 percentile)

Three Boys and A Girl

We had a reunion dinner with some couples in our birthing class. Only four couples made it, but we had a great time sharing new parenting stories and helpful tips. We plan to meet every three months. I look forward to watching the kids grow up together.

A Wonderful Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I love spending time with family. Keegan finally got to meet his cousins, Tucker and Tanner, Aunt Amy and Uncle RW. We traveled all over east Texas. Keegan slept in four different places in six days, and he did great traveling in the car.

Tanner talking to Keegan. Tanner helped change his diaper.
Tucker loving on Keegan. The weather was beautiful! We all lounged in the grass for a few hours at the lake house.

Keegan, Tucker and Tanner...I love these boys!!

Keegan, Jason and Me shopping at North Park.
Keegan loves the front carrier. It is the best thing for shopping and doing chores.

One of my favorite moments of Thanksgiving. Tanner was determined to push the stroller. He loved every second of it, but I think the busy shoppers at North Park had a different opinion.

Jason and Keegan

Keegan loves his Wubbanub. I love when he wraps his arms around it.

Aunt Candace gave Keegan a quick bath at my parents. My mom and I supervised. Keegan thought it would be fun to pee and poop during bath time. Sorry Aunt Candace!!
