What A Great Birthday Weekend!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I had the best birthday weekend ever. My friends and family spoiled me. Thank you all for loving me so much, to plan so many exciting details. I love all of you!!! We took several pictures over the weekend, so I will share some of them.

Saturday night Julie, Jason and Judd New had us over for dinner. They made fajitas and we all played the Wii. They gave me an Ebay gift card so I can order the door knobs I have been watching...I am so excited!! I enjoyed spending time with Judd. Julie had him dressed in elephant outfits, since I love elephants.

Julie, I am so sad that you are moving. I am going to miss my shopping buddy. You have to promise to come back to Dallas and I will make trips your way.

Sunday, today, was a beautiful day. Jason made me breakfast this morning. It was great...we had waffles, bacon, sausage and orange juice. We went to church and then our BFG (Sunday School class) went out to Scotty P's. for lunch. We love all of the friends we have made through First Baptist McKinney. We are so blessed to have found a great church to worship in and fellowship.

On our way home, Manda asked me to stop by her house to get a little present she got for me. Aaron and Manda have a beautifully landscaped yard. Every time we go to their house, I tell Jason we need to landscape our yard and get some trees. Since they knew that I have been wanting a tree for our backyard, they got me a Dogwood Tree. I am so excited to plant it in our backyard. I hope that I can help it grow...I am not very handy in the yard so I am nervous that I am going to kill it.

Here is the Dogwood Tree, Me and Manda....Thank you!

The tree was not the only surprise for me at the Maxwell house. I found this adorable china cabinet over Spring Break, in Corsicana. I love it because it is small and antique. It has great character and I thought it would fit perfect in our dining room. I told Manda and Mandy all about it when we went to Trade Days, but I never really put much thought in to it. I talked to Jason about the china cabinet but I had no idea that he would get it for my birthday. He really surprised me this year! (I have my work cut out for me in July.) He bought the cabinet a few weeks ago and it has been camping out in the Maxwell garage. We were standing in their driveway and the cabinet was in the garage. I noticed the cabinet but it took me a minute to realize it was for me. I figured it out when Jason, Manda and Aaron were looking at me funny. I was so excited!! Way to go Jason... I love you!!

Here is Jason and Aaron moving the china cabinet to the truck. The Maxwells helped us bring it back to the house and put in the dining room. Thanks!

The China Cabinet...I love it!

The New and Improved Dining Room

Mr. Aune and Michelle brought me flowers.
They are so pretty!
I have some yard work that I need to do this week.

My parents came to McKinney today. They brought me my birthday presents and definitely spoiled me. They gave me a necklace with one of my grandmother's diamonds. It is beautiful! They also got me a sewing machine. I have been talking to my Mom about learning how to sew. She got everything I needed to get started, plus some patterns and fabric. I have my work cut out for me but I am hoping to make it a new hobby. I want to make curtains for the living room this summer. It is going to take me several weeks to figure it. If I make anything exciting, I will let you all know. Thanks Mom and Dad! We opened presents at my house and went to Mi Cocina for dinner.
